IELTS Reading Tips Multiple Choice Questions  Here are some IELTS Reading Tips and Strategies for answering Multiple Choice Question successfully. First of all read the questions carefully. Do not look at the options given in the answers. Then skim the text to understand the general meaning of it. You have to identify and underline any keywords in the question and try to think about any synonyms that might appear in the text. After that read the choices and underline any keywords. Think about the difference in meaning between the choices. Read that part of the passage which contain the answer with the help of synonyms and keywords. Read the given passage very carefully, and try to think about the difference in meanings. Think about the option which is correct. Predict the correct answer and cross out the wrong one. Go back and read the question again and tick mark your final answer. You will reach to the correct answer . And double check the answers at the end of the test...

At the end there is No Extra Time  to transfer answers to an answer sheet. Each correctly answered question is awarded with  one mark ; therefore the maximum score you can get is 40.
