How to prepare for the IELTS test at home?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world's most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration.
IELTS measures the English proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as the first language. There is band scale which identify levels of proficiency, from non-user/ band 1 to expert / band 9.
IELTS is available in two types:
Academic IELTS - for those people who are applying for higher education or professional registration.
General Training IELTS - for those who want to migrate to countries like Australia, Canada, UK, and USA.
So, your first step is to know which IELTS are you going for, IELTS academic or IELTS general training? How many bands you need for that? Your preparation depends on your band requirements.
