First of all, IELTS full form is International English Language Testing System in which there are two types of IELTS test, it includes General module and Academic module.

The general module stands for those who want to immigrate to another country whereas the Academic test is for those students who have a desire to study in foreign countries.

Basically, this test has Four sections which include Listening, Reading, writing, and speaking. IELTS results are valid for two years from the date you took the test.
