➢ We hear different types of news every day; Some of them are good, some are not.
➢ Many news affects us in positive or negative ways.
➢ There are many political, financial or strategic developments happening in my country which can be read in the headlines.
➢ In addition, important sports events, major accidents, epidemics, important developments in entertainment and other industries also get attention in the news.
➢ Among them, here, I would like to describe a piece of news that affected the whole world most. It is about the Covid-19 pandemic.
➢ I have a habit of checking my phone every morning when I wake up. So, one day I saw that coronavirus news was flashing everywhere.
➢ The Corona pandemic affected millions of individuals worldwide, and the fatality rate was rose as well.
➢ This news was released by our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi with the help of the media.
➢ They announced that the pandemic corona virus is extremely harmful and difficult to eliminate. So, the government decided to put India completely under lockdown situation.
➢ In order to stop the virus from spreading throughout the nation, higher authorities had to take such drastic steps.
➢ India's unemployment rate increased, which resulted in a decline in consumer demand across all industrial sectors, a global recession, and massive unemployment among both hourly workers as well as executives and senior staff.
➢ The pandemic caused people to start working from home. I was one of them. After a few days of lockdown, I received a mail from my office about Work from Home (WFH).
➢ According to a government mandate, my employer required employees to "Work from Home" (WFH) during the lockdown. As a result, 90% of employees worked from home, with 65% doing so in metro cities and the remaining 35% in rural areas.
➢ It has been a different way of doing things in terms of work, children, pet care, families, domestic duties, fitness activities, and other things.
➢ Unemployment and a sharp decrease in growth have a negative impact on the Indian economy. One of India's largest employment crises has been triggered by the pandemic.
➢ Fortunately, the ability to work from home saved my job. In addition, there are several advantages to it, including time and money savings, as well as the opportunity to spend more time with family and do other productive activities.
➢ Technology is a boon to our lives. Electronic media like television, radio and the internet are helpful in providing the latest and real-time news from the whole world.
